The Hyper Foundation has earmarked 1 million HYPE tokens to support the newly established Hyperliquid Policy Center, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit focused on shaping DeFi regulations in the U.S. The unstaked tokens will fund research and advocacy efforts aimed at clarifying compliance frameworks for decentralized finance.

Positioned NEAR lawmakers, the initiative seeks to influence policy discussions through data-driven recommendations. Legal strategist Jchervinsky will lead the center's efforts to balance innovation with regulatory oversight in the evolving DeFi landscape.
